Japanese fireworks are not only a symbol of summer nights,
but a cultural tradition woven into festivals, prayers, and celebrations throughout the year.

In the Queenworks series “Meeting the makers of fireworks”,
we interview pyrotechnicians and firework houses across Japan,
sharing their voices with a global audience—from national competitions to local festivals,
and the heritage passed down through generations.
